Research

The Forest has been available for research. Independent researchers, government scientists, and faculty, and students from different colleges have conducted scientific research within this natural gem.

OPEN-AIR CLASSROOM

The Forest serves as an “outdoor classroom” for young and old, the object of hundreds of visits annually by schools, church groups, environmentalist groups and others, allies in the effort to preserve properties of high ecological value in Puerto Rico such as the Pterocarpus Forest.

The Earth loses ten million hectares of forest every year.

Your help will help us conserve this wonderful swamp forest.
