The Friends of the Pterocarpus Forest*

The Friends of the Pterocarpus Forest raise 60% of the Forest’s annual budget and are responsible for the work essential to keeping the Forest beautiful and available to the public for passive recreation, education and scientific research.

We are an advocacy and support group of concerned citizens who came together in early 2011, committed to preserving, protecting and promoting the Pterocarpus Forest at Palmas for future generations.

We raise funds for:

• conservation and habitat restoration,
• on-site and on-line educational programming, including lectures, special exhibits and tours, and
• other Forest public-benefit undertakings.

Gifts to PHA Pterocarpus Forest, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law in your area of residence.  PHA Pterocarpus Forest, Inc. is exempt from federal and state income taxes under §501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and §1101.01 of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code, respectively.
